We’ll gather together for 3 days in a beautiful creekside mountain camp in the Esmeralda Basin of Eastern Washington. We’ll take a deep breath in our lives. We’ll reconnect with the natural world and experience how it reflects our vitality and innate wisdom. We’ll open to new ways of perceiving and listening. We’ll deepen our presence with ourselves, the wild nature that holds us, and our little community.

It's called a Vision Walk, and it's a mini-vision quest, a day's journey on Mother Earth, structured in the same way as all significant rites of passage: preparation (Severance), time on the land (Threshold), and return (Incorporation). This program serves as an excellent introduction to our work, and can be a gift to oneself--time out of your regular life to reflect, go within, and just be in nature.
This nine-day program will be take place on First Nations land and at Cabine Soleil, a retreat center near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is a classic Vision Quest program welcomes both men and women and is in the tradition we have followed for over 35 years. We offer a range of modern and ancient tools to participants, with a focus on learning about oneself and one’s gifts in the context of the natural world.

Mirroring is a practice that involves listening deeply to another person, then giving feedback that heightens insight, self-recognition and the sense of being recognized and validated. It is especially useful when listening to stories of people who have gone into nature to enact a rite of passage. This workshop will present information and experiential learning about the art of mirroring that is central to the Rites of Passage program.
