Our programs involve time spent in the wilderness and are not without an element of risk; participants should carry their own health and accident insurance, and must sign a liability release form. People under age 18 may participate with parental or guardian’s permission. Those who take prescription medications, or have other health concerns, should check with their physicians before registering. Please read our Registration Information page for more information.

Vision Quest programs require a $350 non-refundable, non-transferable tuition deposit to register. Other programs have varying non-refundable, non-transferable deposit amounts; see program listing for details. Balance for all programs is due one month before the program begins, after which no refunds will be made. If you use our online credit card option, you authorize our billing for the program balance one month before program commencement, unless other payment arrangements are agreed upon with us. If Rites of Passage cancels a program, a full refund will be made. Partial scholarship support is available by request for many programs; email or call (707-537-1927) before registering.

Fees for most programs are divided into tuition and food/camping/lodging, which covers all food and camping/lodging costs except for up to 3 restaurant meals on 9-day programs.  Transportation is not included in these fees and is the responsibility of the participant.
